Bzzzzt wrong. Not only is it very uninteresting but the potential employer more than likely has seen at least 50 other covering letters virtually identical to yours. All it demonstrates is your lack of originality as well as laziness in using google to obtain a form letter which you then replicate identically. This is not something your future superior will be searching for in an employee. What it will accomplish is identify you as another boring type who will only do simply enough in order to do your responsibilities but not actually impress and absolutely by no means truly display intiative or creativity.
